By our planned collaboration with the Bangalorian organization Samvada we want to benefit from the chances that the tourism provides and at the same time work towards a minimization of the negative effects that tourism brings along.

On Sunday, the 7th of January, our this year´s Luxembourg Exchange Program started for the third time in three years. Six girls and four teachers from Luxembourg came to India to work together with our organisation´s staff members and to gain a deeper insight into Sakhi´s work and the world we are living in.

This year Sakhi organized the 4th Youth Festival. 289 youth members, several college professors, parents of Sakhi students and fee supporters came to join the festival activities.

Between the beginning of August and the beginning of September our new volunteers arrived.
